Application to assist fuel transportation companies taking orders, dispatching orders, and tracking deliveries.

Software as a service application to help photographers display their portfolios. Built site so that all aspects of a portfolio could be edited live.

Maintaining and improving a large Lisp web application. Dealing with large datasets and deeply nested logic.

Maintained and implemented new features on high volume email application written in Django.  Came in having no knowledge of Django or Python and was making fixes and writing production code within a month.  Added test coverage where none existed and gradually refactored features that were broken or inefficient.

Built e-learning course in Flash and integrated it into Microsoft's SCORM system.  The course used heavy amounts of video streaming, branching narratives, and smart suspend and resume capabilities that went beyond traditional starting and stopping of a course.

Customized a Wordpress installation and wrote custom tools to integrate with 3rd party services.  Assisted in training youth to use blogging and other social media tools.

Took existing static site and built administrative backend in Ruby on Rails used to centralize various office tasks.  Met with staff to translate office workflow it into a functional web application.

Wrote and maintained perl webspider for search engine as well as specific webspiders for obtaining additional metadata.  Took the initiative to learn perl on the job as a solution for more customized spidering tasks.
